For the quick way to Oxford

As you approach Handy Cross Roundabout take the exit from the A404 s/p “Birmingham / Oxford
/ M40”.

Expert navigator tip: When I was there in last that sign was obstructed by shrubbery. Don’t
worry – if you miss that exit road, you can take the 2nd exit from the r/bout ahead of you. Also s/p
“Birmingham / Oxford / M40”.

To go to West Wycombe:

0.4 mi 51.6137, -0.7685 cross over the M40 and take the 3rd exit s/p “Wycombe A404” on the
overhead gantry.

Expert Navigator Checkpoint: Shortly after leaving the r/bout look for the Wycombe Sports
Centre on the r.

Now follow the instruction in the side bar below.

West Wycombe Caves and Park Tour:

1.2 mi 51.6268, -0.7515 As you approach High Wycombe town centre you will come up to a
large grassed r/bout with trees in the middle. Take the 2nd exit on to the A40 s/p “Aylesbury A40 /
A4010”

Expert Navigator Checkpoint: As you make that turn the High Wycombe Fire Station will be
prominent on your r.

Go str through one r/bout (Marks and Spencer will be on your left) to remain on the A40 and at

2.8 mi 51.6446, -0.8050 The gates of West Wycombe Park are on the left. Look for the yellow
building. The Hell Fire Caves are to the r. at that intersection.

To continue to Oxford . . .

Return to the A40 and continue westwards.

Go through Studley Green, Beacon’s Bottom to the e., and Stokenchurch to Intersection 5 on the
M40.
