From the castle area cont. str ahd following signs to “Datchet / Eton / Staines”.

0.2 mi Take the 2nd r. on to Datchet Rd, the B470, s/posted “Datchet / Eton / Staines”.

Expert navigator tip: As you make that turn there’s a monument in a small park on your r. and
ahead to the r. is the Bell and Dragon Inn. As you make the turn that pub will be on your left.

Follow Datchet Rd on to King Edward Ave – still the B470 – with the castle grounds on the r. and
The Home Park on the l.,

0.8 mi Cross the River Thames.

You are then on Windsor Rd, which is also the B470.

1.0 mi 51.4823, -0.5820 Enter Datchet and turn l. on to Queens Rd s/posted “Slough / Eton /
(B375)” to remain on the B470.

It’s not well signposted but there is a sign on the left.

Immediately after crossing the railway lines at the end of Queens Rd, bear r. on to London Rd s/p
“Horton 2 / Wyasbury 2 1/2”

Go straight through a small flush r/bout.

Take the 1st exit from the next small r/bout on to London Rd, to remain on the B470.
