her double, with what proved to be the winning goal, midway through the second half.
Leeds Utd meanwhile will be away to Alnwick Town following their 3-1 victory
over Stockport County in which Rebecca Hunt, Rebekah Bass and Abbie Brown were all
on target.
Holwell Sports settled a closely contested tie Larkhall Athletic in extra time,
Courtney Cropper scoring the only goal in a 1-0 victory. Holwell will now be home to
Leafield Athletic who enjoyed a smoother passage, beating Leek Town 3-0 with second
half strikes from Chloe Shirley, Grace Harris and Katie Johnson.
Portishead Town meanwhile progressed to the last sixteen with a 6-0 victory
over Harlow Town. Emily Lindsey led the scoring with a hat-trick and she was joined on
the scoresheet by Amy Clark, Katie Quick and Rosie Hill. Portishead will be at home again
in the next round to AFC Wimbledon who beat Chesham Utd 3-2. Megan Stow,
Rebecca Sargent and Katie Stanley scored the goals to take the Dons through, before
Chesham staged a late rally with replies from Gemma Fraser and Anneka Nuttall.
Northern Premier Division
Burnley FC Women are in the top six following their 2-0 victory away to Stoke City.
Sarah Greenhalgh and Katie Thomas were both on target for the Clarets as they claimed
their third away win of the season.
Division One South West
Swindon Town notched up their first league win of the season, at the seventh time of
asking. A ninth minute goal from Victoria Taylor was enough to give Swindon a 1-0 victory
away to Maidenhead Utd.
Reserve Section round-up...
Northern Division leaders Middlesbrough went down to a second successive defeat, 4-2
at the hands of third placed Stockport County. Megan Bradley hit a hat-trick for
Stockport and Madi Hudson added the other goal. Middlesbrough's lead has been cut to a
single point by Huddersfield Town who ran out 5-1 winners over Bradford City,
courtesy of a goal apiece from Tara Duce, Molly Ellis, Sian Gibrill-Keating, Kayley Hird and
Alice Linsell. Liverpool Feds were 2-0 victors at Barnsley whilst Chorley defeated
Durham Cestria 4-1 thanks to a Leah Collins hat-trick and Aleesha Collins. Katie Astle
was another hat-trick scorer, for Leeds Utd in their 8-1 victory over Hull City, Lauren
Richardson adding two along with Molly Beacock, Aaliyah Nolan and Abbie Langstaff.
Nottingham Forest continue to lead the way in the Midland Division following
an emphatic win over Bedworth Utd. Arryana Daniels led the scoring with a six-goal
haul, Mia Chiarizia hit a hat-trick, Charlotte Steggles netted twice and the others came from
Libby Bartlett, Jemima Footitt, Leja Harvey, Cameron Farthing and Summa Betts.
Chantelle Teare netted four times along with Amy Hare (2), Harriett Wellings, Daisy
Wickett, Grace Gregory and Millie Webb for second placed Wolverhampton
Wanderers in their 10-1 win over Sporting Khalsa. Loughborough Lightning are a
further point adrift in third after Emily Gunn, Indiana Totty and an own goal gave them a
3-1 win away to West Bromwich Albion. Stoke City moved level on points with
Leicester City by beating them 3-2, Ava Suckley (2) and Lauren Wilshaw netting their
goals, whilst a Caitlin Hirst hat-trick, Eboni Fowkes and Esther Lau-Mackaay earned
Solihull Moors a 5-2 victory over Lincoln City. Long Eaton Utd picked up their
second win, 3-1 against Doncaster Rovers Belles with goals from Matilda Hallas-Potts,
Emma Goddard and Lucie Johnstone.
In the South East Division, Jessica Wright netted twice and Lily Wolstenholme
the other as Hashtag Utd won 3-1 at Milton Keynes Dons to move into second place.
Norwich City defeated Cambridge Utd 6-2 with goals from Rosie George (2), Katie Lee,
