In the South Central Division, Crawley Wasps moved themselves into a mid-table
position by defeating Billericay Town 3-1 in the only match played.
Everton have taken over at the top of the Northern Division in the FA WSL Academy
League, after a Holly McEvoy goal gave them a 1-0 victory over Leicester City. They move
above Aston Villa who had topped the table following their 4-1 win against Liverpool on
Sunday, in which Isobel Goodwin netted twice alongside Missy Goodwin and Mary McAteer.
It has not been a good few days for Manchester City, who went down 3-0 on Sunday to
Leicester City, courtesy of a Lydia Tilbury-Henry double and Jessica Camwell and a few days
later, they were beaten 5-2 by Birmingham City despite goals from Jemima Dahou and
Ginny Lackey.
