FA Women’s National League
Southern Premier Division
Ipswich Town have taken the advantage in the
Southern Premier Division title race after they won 2-0
against rivals Southampton FC Women. Both
teams went into the game with 100% records but
it was Ipswich who took the spoils on the day,
goals from Zoe Barratt and Natasha Thomas
giving them a result which takes them nine points
ahead at the top (see match report).
Oxford Utd kept up their good run of
form and their 3-0 victory over Plymouth
Argyle has taken them up to third place, two
points behind Southampton. Rachel Panting gave
Oxford the lead and Riva Casley made it two
ahead of half time. Beth Lumsden netted the
third after the break for the U's, who were further
boosted late on when Kayleigh Hines made her
return from injury as a substitute.

Wem Town defeated Holwell Sports 2-0 in the solitary match to take place over the
weekend. Katie Doster scored both goals as Wem secured a result which takes them five places
up the table, into a mid-table position.
Division One South East
Billericay Town maintained their lead of three points at the top of the table by winning 2-0
away to Kent Football Utd. After a goalless first half, Ellie Jeffkins gave Billericay the lead
just after the hour and Jay Blackie sealed the points with a long range strike.
Hashtag Utd kept up their own challenge when they defeated Norwich City 4-1.
After Kate Parsons had given Norwich an early lead, Gemma Baker and Cerys Adams hit back
to put the Tags in front going into the interval and Malika Apindia wrapped up the win for her
side with a second half double.
Reserve Section round-up...
Huddersfield Town are the new leaders of the Northern Division following their 2-0 victory
against Durham Cestria. Macy Ellis gave them an early lead and Tara Duce added the other
goal in the second half. Hull City meanwhile claimed their third league win of the campaign,
2-1 against Brighouse Town whose consolation came from Katja May.
There was also a change of leadership in the Midland Division, with Wolverhampton
Wanderers taking over at the top after beating Doncaster Rovers Belles 2-0, courtesy of
goals from Chantelle Teare and Lauren Riley. A win would have seen Loughborough
Lightning move up into second place but they went down 2-1 to Lincoln City, whose scorers
were Toni McHamilton and Jessica Rousseau.
