Wales squad for double header

Gemma Grainger has announced a 26-player squad as Wales look to continue their
unbeaten form in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying campaign with a double
       header of matches.
Wales will face Greece at Parc y Scarlets on Friday 26th November (kick off 7.15pm)
before heading to Guingamp in Brittany to face group leaders France on Tuesday 30th
November. Grainger’s side go into the matches second in the group after three wins and a
       draw to start the campaign.
Grainger will be without full back Rachel Rowe, who misses out due to injury, and
Leicesetr City’s Hannah Cain who suffered an ACL injury a week after winning her first
Cymru cap last month. Maria Francis-Jones returns to the squad after captaining the
Under-19s last month to promotion to League A in the 2022 UEFA WU19 EURO
       Qualifying Round.
Wales return to Parc y Scarlets to face Greece after their 6-0 win over Kazakhstan at
the stadium in September. Tickets for the match, on Friday 26th November, start at only
£2 (group bookings) and £4 (individual bookings) for kids, available at faw.cymru/tickets.
