Appropriate Business Casual Attire for Men and Women on Fridays
Police FCU has a casual business attire day on Friday’s and all employees must use the following
guidelines to define appropriate casual business attire, unless it is a special designated day of attire,
such as, Jean’s Day or Halloween. The following is a list of appropriate attire that can be worn on
Fridays:
a. Khakis or corduroys slacks
b. Cotton slacks
c. Polo collar knit or golf shirts with no commercial logo
d. Oxford shirts
e. Police FCU logo wear
f. Short-sleeve blouses or shirts
g. Turtlenecks
h. Blazers or sport coats
i. Jackets or sweaters
j. Casual, low-heel, open-back shoes (e.g., mules, sling backs)
k. Pumps, high heels, dressy sandals
l. Boating or deck shoes
In-Appropriate Attire that Should NEVER BE WORN During Any Work Shift
The following attire should not be worn during the employee’s work shift on any day:
a. Facial and/or oral jewelry
b. Sweatpants, leggings, exercise wear
c. Shorts
d. Low-rise or hip-hugger pants
e. Jeans (except on approved Jean’s Day)
f. Capri slacks (cropped or rolled up)
g. Shirts with writing (other than Police FCU logo)
h. T-shirts or sweatshirts
i. Beachwear
j. Sleeveless blouses or sleeveless shirts
k. Exercise wear
l. Crop tops, tank tops, tube tops, low cut tops, or spaghetti straps
m. Short tops when wearing tight slacks or jeans
n. Clothing showing midriffs or waistline
o. Hooded shirts/sweaters/jackets
p. Hats or sunglasses
