As such, Police FCU endorses all applicable state motor vehicle regulations relating to driver
responsibility. Company vehicles must be operated in accordance with federal, state and local
regulations, traffic laws, and ordinances. The unauthorized, negligent, improper, careless, or unsafe
use of a Credit Union vehicle will result in disciplinary action up to and including employment

termination. Employees who drive company vehicles must be able to always meet the driver approval
              standards of this policy.

Employees must exercise due diligence when driving the company vehicle, ensuring all safety devices
such as seat belt restraints are used by all occupants in the vehicle, including the driver at all times.
Employees will be responsible for any driving infractions or fines because of their negligence, i.e.
parking tickets, speeding tickets, etc. Employees are responsible for maintaining the security of the
              company vehicle and its contents.

Employees may not drive any business vehicle without prior approval from the President/CEO or the
Executive Vice President/COO. Police FCU provides vehicles strictly for Credit Union business use only.
When approved, employees may drive a company automobile on company-designated business in
accordance with Credit Union procedures and guidelines:

                  a. Employees approved to drive on Credit Union business are required to inform Human
Resources and the Executive Vice President/COO of any changes that may affect either their
legal or physical abilities to drive or maintain insurability.

                  b. Employees are not permitted to take company vehicles home unless an approved scheduled
event dictates early morning, late evening, or weekend use of the vehicle. In such
circumstances, the employee fully understands that the vehicle is to be used only for the
specific company business purpose and not for personal use. Non-employees and/or non-
business passengers, such as family, friends or animals are prohibited from riding in company
                     owed vehicles.

                  c. When the company vehicle is parked on company property, keys will be stored on company
premises in a secured location. Vehicle registration should be maintained in the glove
compartment of the vehicle at all times.

                  d. Employees are not permitted under any circumstance to operate a company vehicle nor a
personal vehicle for company business when any physical or mental impairment causes the
employee to be unable to drive safely. Prohibitions (consuming alcohol, illegal drugs, or
prescription medications) include circumstances in which the employee is temporarily unable

to operate a vehicle safely or legally. Smoking in company vehicles is not permitted.
                  e. The use of handheld cell phones, whether personal or business-owned, while behind the wheel
of a moving vehicle that is being used on company business is strictly prohibited.
