Additionally, employees should be moderate in use of jewelry, make-up, perfume/cologne, hair
accessories and any other items used to adorn the head and body. Facial jewelry such as eyebrow,
nose, lip, or tongue rings and/or studs should not be worn in the workplace. Employees should take
extra care to cover-up tattoos while in the workplace.
Employees are asked to be conservative in overall appearance as representatives of Police FCU;
therefore, a neat, clean, well-groomed, and professional appearance is required. All employees are
expected to dress in a manner consistent with good hygiene and safety.
Police FCU understands that you may prefer to drive in a comfortable pair of shoes that are not on the
appropriate list; however, they must be changed before you begin the start of your work shift.
Nothing in this policy is meant to discourage, inhibit, or prohibit anything that is done to comply with
the dictates of any religion or which is necessary to accommodate any disability. If any employee
believes that something that would otherwise be prohibited under this policy, should be permitted
on religious, disability or other legitimate grounds, the employee should contact Human Resources as
to whether an accommodation is practicable.
This policy applies to all Police FCU employees. Any employee who does not adhere to this policy will
be placed on leave by their Supervisor and will be asked to return home to dress appropriately and
then return to work. Continued disregard of this policy may be cause for disciplinary action up to and
employment termination.
OFFICE SUPPLIES
