DRESS CODE AND GROOMING
To maintain visible professionalism within Police FCU, a dress code policy is essential to create an
overall understanding of appropriate attire and adornment. It is important that we have a visible
distinction between our members and employees.
Attire may vary by department, office or location depending upon the face-to-face contact with our
members. If your regular workday involves face-to-face interaction with members, formal business
attire should be worn between Monday through Thursday and appropriate business casual attire may
only be worn on Fridays.
If your regular workday does not typically involve face-to-face interaction with members such as
Accounting, Back Office or IT, business casual attire may be worn Monday through Friday. Employees
in all departments, offices or locations should keep in mind appointments they may have with
members, suppliers, or vendors and always dress accordingly.
If the employee is unsure about what is considered appropriate in their department, office, or
location, they shall check with their Supervisor or Human Resources.
