Each employee is to maintain an accurate daily record of his or her arrival time and departure time. It
is the responsibility of the employee to ensure his or her time is entered accurately. Intentionally
fabricating the reporting time or hours worked on a bi-weekly timesheet will result in disciplinary
action up to and including employment termination. Supervisors are responsible to ensure the
employee’s timesheets accurately reflects actual time of arrival, departure, hours worked, and leave
taken, whether approved or unapproved.
Timesheets will be used to account for all time worked and leave taken. Employees will submit their
timesheet bi-weekly as directed by their Supervisor. All timesheets and leave request must be
submitted to Human Resources by 12:00 Noon, the Monday prior to the pay date to meet the deadline
for timely payroll submission to Accounting.
Supervisors shall maintain accurate records of employee attendance to include absence and tardiness,
and if warranted, document infractions for recordkeeping for possible disciplinary action. Supervisors
will be responsible for ensuring their employees have accrued leave prior to approving leave, as well
as, maintaining appropriate leave documentation. Additionally, employees must have the necessary
accrued leave hours prior to taking vacation and/or sick leave.
The Credit Union is very generous with the amount of vacation and sick leave an employee can earn
per pay period, and all employees should be cognizant not to take advantage of this generosity;
therefore, there shall be no leave advancement. Vacation and sick leave hours are earned at the end
of the pay period.
