TRAVEL CONSIDERATION

In accordance with applicable law, Police FCU does not consider normal travel to and from work as
time worked. Time worked includes work done for Police FCU at the employee's designated location
or alternative assigned locations. However, if an employee is asked to attend a seminar or other work
event that is outside of his or her normal commute to and from work, the additional travel time to the
alternative work location does constitute time worked. For example, if an employee who regularly
works at the DC Branch is asked to train or attend a meeting at the Upper Marlboro, Maryland location
during the workday, time traveling to and from the different branches constitutes time worked.

If an employee is approved to attend a seminar or other work related activity representing Police FCU,

the President/CEO and/or their department’s Chief Executive must approve all travel costs such as
airfare, lodging, meals, and program fees. All travel considerations should be arranged prior to the
travel event. Typically, the department’s Chief Executive will arrange and approve travel and lodging
costs and dictate the required per diem reimbursement limitation for meals.

Non-exempt employees are compensated at their regular hourly rates when directed to attend a
seminar or other work-related activity. If overtime results in a work week during which a seminar is
attended, all work hours including travel and seminar hours are added together and hours worked

over 40, regardless of how spent, are paid at the rate of time and one-half.

Employees who have been approved to travel on Credit Union related business shall complete and
submit an expense reimbursement form to their Chief Executive for final approval. All requests for
reimbursement of expenses incurred will be carefully reviewed prior to reimbursement of funds.

              TIME & TENURE INCREASE

The purpose of time and tenure is to reward employees for their length of service with Police FCU.
The employee’s base salary may increase by a certain percentage based on the following significant
              yearly anniversaries (1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, 18 and 20). After completion of the first nine (9) steps in the
time and tenure process, recognition will be at the discretion of the President/CEO and executive
              management.
