Non-Disclosure
The protection of confidential business information and trade secrets is vital to the
interests and the success of the National Wildlife Federation. Such confidential information
includes, but is not limited to, the following examples:
• Business plans
• Compensation data
• Constituency lists, preferences and other information
• Financial information
• Litigation and other privileged legal information
• Marketing strategies
• New materials research and development
• New product research and development
• Personnel Information
• Pending projects and proposals
• Proprietary production processes
• Research and development strategies
• Scientific data, formulae and prototypes
• Technological data and prototypes
You are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement as a condition of employment contained
in the Employee Acknowledgment Form. Any employee who improperly uses or discloses
trade secrets or confidential business information will be subject to disciplinary action, up to
and including termination of employment and legal action during or after employment, even
if he or she does not actually benefit from the disclosed information.
Access to Personnel Files
The National Wildlife Federation maintains an electronic personnel file on each employee. The
personnel file includes such information as your application for employment, resume, records
of training, performance appraisals and salary increases, and other employment records.
