BEYOND BASICS
Well, your search is over! We’re going Deer hunting!
A “flinch” is a conditioned response usually caused when surprised!
Scaring someone is a good example of a flinch! When something
isn’t expected and it appears suddenly, that’ll cause the flinch
response! Flinching will cause a person to “freeze” in place for a
split second. Deer in the headlights!
The concept is to be non-telegraphic
and quick on the attack
The Flinch Factor is used to cause an opponent to flinch and freeze
for that split second.
The concept is to be non-telegraphic and quick on the attack,
targeting a punch directly at the eyes of the opponent causing him
to flinch, freeze, and be temporarily blinded. The flinch may even
cause him to close his eyes momentarily. Essentially, the opponent
will be a "statue" for a split second which is all the time needed to
close the gap and take the advantage.
Non-telegraphic speed ability needed for the Flinch Factor. Check
the sector on Speed Training for some great tips for increasing
speed.
