               As I stated above, either hand can be used to defend either
               side.  The  cross  deflection  starts  the  deflection  from  the
               opposite shoulder line and draws back across to the same side
               of the head.

                             the centerline was very similar to
                                         Wing Chun.


               Kicks are also included in Defending the Triangle as they come
               either inside or outside the shoulder line as well.
























           Back in my college days, I enrolled in a Fencing class for a semester
           because sword-play sounded like fun! Being a martial artist, I had
           to hold my non-sword hand behind my back to keep from blocking
           with it.

           I had a friend who was a student Senator and he wanted to start
           up a Karate Program at the college with me as the teacher. We
