4. Collision preventing sensors (switches)

a. There are two sets of dual sensing

collision switches. One set of two
switches per plane.

Frontal side

b. There are two collision preventing
switches vertically stacked for double
protection. The first one to be

activated is referred to as “pre-
collision” switch.
c. They are both located in between
frontal and lateral arms to prevent
them from ever getting too close and
avoiding potential collisions.

d. This frontal set is mounted on top of
the frontal c-arm using X2 (M4x12)
bolts. It has an adjustable bracket as it
may require fine-tuning during
calibration.
e. The corresponding cam is attached on
the opposite c-arm using X2 (M4x12) bolts. (see images)
