Dan chose not to talk about Tom’s Friday fiasco. The Learning Cycle had helped him
recognize that converting ‘knowledge’ to ‘learning’ and ‘practice’ was tough and required time
and patience. He had far more empathy and understanding towards Tom’s behavior now.
He explained The Learning Cycle and why consistent practice is not possible till knowledge
becomes learning, which brough a smile and sigh of relief from Tom. He admitted that he had
not been able to spend enough time to assimilate what they had discussed last Monday, and it
had been stored preventing the learning. He committed that he would invest sufficient time
to share so that he can practice the learnings effectively.
Dan also explained the concept of ThERe, and why ‘Think before you React’ was so critical.
He shared his morning creativity with Tom.
