‘Ron’s session was very profound. It had so many learnings. And as luck would have it, I was able to use

the Expectations Conundrum almost immediately with Vik and Anne, hopefully with lasting success. Would

I have been able to achieve the same result few weeks back? I doubt it. For one, I would not have the models.

But would that be the only difference? Although the model may have played a part, it was only a tool, which I

               used effectively.’

‘What did I do differently? I know for sure that I would have tried to control and persuade Vic and Anne

to reconcile. And it would not have worked because my persuasion would have probably made them more

adamant and fed their egos. Yesterday, in place of control and persuasion, they experienced our empathy and

compassion that gave them the confidence to lower their guard. That Betsy and I had recently resolved a similar

situation successfully may have also been a big influencer. They responded to our compassion with commitment

to overcome their ego and embrace each other. So far it appears that Betsy and I were help. I hope they can put

their issues behind them for good. Need to thank Ron again.’ His thoughts shifted to Ron.

‘Ron is incredible? It is clear to me now why he made VP so fast. I have always liked him but now I am

a fan. His ability to convert extraordinarily complex issues into simple and easy-to-understand concepts is awe-

inspiring. It cannot be done without outstanding clarity of mind. How does one inculcate that? Still a lot to

               learn!’

                  ‘Let me update my learnings.’

He opened the word file, and his fingers began dancing on the keyboard. He reviewed and

rewrote previous and new entries a few times till he felt satisfied.
