Dan had an inkling that today may be his last session with Ron. Although he knew of its

impermanence, he was saddened that it may be coming to an end.

‘I will miss these sessions immensely. I have got so used to them and look forward to them so eagerly. But it

had to come to an end.’

‘Wonder what we will talk today?’

He shrugged the question away. He did not want to guess and ruin the surprise that came

with each session. But he was curious how Ron will wrap it up.

As he walked towards Ron’s office that evening, he was nervous. Apart from the

apprehension about the impending end of the sessions, he was anxious about today’s outcome.

Last Friday session was a bit unsettling.

Linda returned Dan’s affectionate smile and waved him in. Ron greeted him with the usual

enthusiasm. Once they settled down, Ron began.

“How have been the learning this week Dan?”

“I had an interesting and exciting week Ron. Conducted Expectations Swap with one of

my managers and found conflicting expectations. First learning is that it is not just the swap,

but alignment of the expectations is even more important.”
