Target III provided a convenient opportunity for Sorors to drop off their
gently used clothing and shoes. Members of Epsilon Gamma Omega
donated clothes and shoes at the May 2017 sorority meeting.
The items were donated to Rose of Sharon Thrift Store to sale for profit. The
funds will help provide food and necessities for the Huntsville/Madison
county homeless community.
In addition, Sorors provided travel toiletries, paper towels, toilet tissue, rain
ponchos and flip flops for the homeless community. All the donated items
help people in need.
Epsilon Gamma Omega in partnership with the National Pan-Hellenic Council of North Alabama, promoted
the Diapers & Wipes campaign to benefit families served by the Catholic Center of Concern. Providing a baby
or toddler with clean diapers and wipes created a healthy impact on their life. The service project was a success!
During the months of March-May, EGO members donated approximately 4,000 diapers and 7,000 wipes.
Overall, the Divine Nine collected 16,000 diapers and 46,000 wipes to help babies and their families in the
Greater Huntsville Area. On May 20, 2017 the donated items were presented to the Catholic Center of Concern.
