TARGET IV: ENVIRONMENTAL OWNERSHIP

1908 Playgrounds AKA Impact Day
On Saturday, May 20, 2017, Epsilon Gamma Omega’s Target IV Committee
participated in Alpha Kappa Alpha’s Sorority Incorporated’s 1908 Playground
Mobilization Day. The playground that was selected this year to be “restored,
refreshed, and renewed” was the Sparkman Homes Boys and Girls Club located
at 101 Mason Court.
Many thanks goes to the Sorors that helped to
clean up the space on various occasions to get the
playground ready for the ribbon-cutting ceremony
held on Playground Mobilization Day. Special
thanks also goes to the many partners and honey-
dos that made this day possible: Mr. Wiley
Henderson, Mr. Melvin McCann, Dr. Earnest
Davis, The Honorable Devyn Keith, and the
Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated
