TARGET III: FAMILY STRENGTHENING
Article and Photos by: Soror Sharon Gresham
Childhood Hunger (Red Nose Day)
Red Nose Day is a special day to come
together, HAVE FUN and make a
th
difference for children. On May 25
Sorors collaborated with Walgreens to
celebrate Red Nose Day!!! Sorors posted
on their social media, pictures of them,
their family members and co-workers
wearing their Red Nose. Additionally,
Sorors met
at
the Walgreens located at the intersection of Jordan Lane and University Drive
for pictures with the staff
as they sported their Red
Nose. The funds that
Sorors spent for the
purchase of their Red
Noses will benefit children and young people in the
United States and globally who live in some of the
poorest communities in the world. The money raised also
supports projects that ensure kids are safe, healthy,
educated, and
empowered. Each
dollar collected
provides 11 meals for
hungry children
through Feeding
America food banks.
