PRE-LICENSE
TRAINING
Agents with the following status are exempt from LL pre-license training:
Any agent who has an active LL or P&C license
Any agent whose role does not require a license (e.g. some payment specialists)
An agent with a LL or P&C license that has been expired for less than one year.
*If the license has expired for less than 1 year, then the agent is typically able to reinstate it. The HR
Operations Partners can determine who is eligible for reinstatement of the license, and will assist with the
reinstatement process.
Agents with the following status are required to attend LL pre-license training:
Any unlicensed agent
An agent with only an active County Mutual license
An agent with a LL or P&C license that has been expired for more than 1 year
An agent with a temporary license that has been sponsored by another insurance
company
Anyone with an insurance license other than LL or P&C (e.g. health or life insurance
license)
Agents who are required to attend the LL pre-license training are scheduled for
attendance on the first Wednesday and Thursday of each training week after the
agent’s start date.
Agents, their DSMs, and RSMs, receive a training invitation 2 days before the LL
training course with a virtual training link and attachments of needed materials.
