          Purpose

To allow licensed re-hired agents to demonstrate mastery of the basics of auto
insurance so that they can by-pass the NAT training and immediately begin

working with customers in their offices.

          Applicability

Re-hired agents who are licensed and have been gone from the business for 6
          months or less

          Prerequisites

Agents must have an active insurance license (Limited Lines or P&C) and have
been gone from the business for 6 months or less

Facilitator will contact the DSM with the option for eligible agents
          Responsibilities

DSM/RSM for the agent can contacting the NAT Facilitator to request

              enrollment in the opt-out exam

NAT Facilitator will determine if the nominated agent is eligible for
              enrollment and initiate the process

LMS Administrator or NAT Facilitator will enroll the agent in the A-MAX

University Module, and verify the assessment score to determine eligibility for

              a waiver of NAT

       Procedure:

Two methods can be used to initiate the Opt-out process. Either the DSM can request
it, or the NAT Facilitator will initiate the process after receiving the new-hire
notification of an eligible agent. All DSMs and RSMs have received a procedure memo

outlining the requirements for eligibility for an agent to complete the Opt-out option
to become exempt from attending NAT. It is expected that they follow the guidelines
before requesting their new agent be given the Opt-out opportunity. If the process is

initiated by the NAT Facilitator, she/he will contact the DSM of the eligible agent.
