PRE-LICENSE
TRAINING
Purpose
To prepare unlicensed agents for the Official Limited Lines (LL) exam taken
through PearsonVue testing centers
Applicability
Any person who transacts insurance as part of their role (agents, some payment
specialists, office managers, DSMs and RSMs)
Prerequisites
This course is taken after an agent completes the NAT course
Responsibilities
Limited Lines Training Facilitator has primary responsibility for this course
HR Operations Partners send hiring notices to L&D to identify the license
status of new-hire agents
Procedure:
All agents are required to have a Limited Lines (LL) or Property & Casualty (P&C)
license to be able to fulfill their role at A-MAX/ALPA. This training prepares agents
for the Official Limited Lines exam taken through PearsonVue testing centers. As per
Operations rules, all agents must pass the Official Limited Lines exam within 30 days
of their hire date or face possible termination from the Company.
When new agents are hired, email notices from HR are sent to L&D with agent
information (e.g. Name, ID number, office location, hiring date and license status).
This information is entered in an L&D Google Sheet (NAT/LL/SS) for training
scheduling purposes.
