The course consists of multiple sections of
information/notes, practice quizzes and a
practice final exam for the agent to
complete at his or her own pace.
Additionally, an LL Games Room has been
created to help agents practice with
definitions/terminology in a fun and
interactive way.
Agents are encouraged to engage in the course quickly,
and to complete it before any additional attempts at
the Pre-licensing training review or the Official LL
exam are made.
The module also has multiple attachments that can aid
the agent in studying, such as note sheets, review
sheets, definition flash cards, and a study tips handout.
On LL Review Day, if an agent does not pass the LL Practice Exam, then an email is sent to
the agent, their DSM/RSM, and HR that informs and encourages the agent to self-enroll in the
course for the additional study and review opportunities.
Agents who pass the Practice Exam, but not the Official Exam, can also self-enroll in the
course, and retake the Review Day for an additional review opportunity. If an agent still
continues to struggle with either Practice or Official Exam, the course has no expiration date
so the agent can continue to review the follow up materials without restriction.
The LL Training Facilitator learns who did not pass the Official Exam in one of two ways: An
HR Operations Officer can inform of a non-pass; or the LL Training Facilitator has access to
the Licensing Analysis Google spreadsheet with Official Exam scores (compiled by HR
Operations Officers) and can identify agents in need of assistance. An email is sent to the
agent to remind them of the course.
NOTE: An agent who does not pass the official LL exam within thirty days of their hire date
will be earmarked for possible termination. The VP of Talent Development will contact the
appropriate Director of Sales to discuss the individual learner’s status. At that point, a
decision will be made to either terminate the employee immediately or make other
arrangements (e.g. move the agent to a position that does not require a license or give the
agent one last opportunity to pass the Official Exam).
