II.E Dress Code
SHTPL considers it very important that Employees are well groomed, neat, and dress appropriately for their job
function. The SHTPL dress code policy provides Employees with guidelines to help present a neat and tasteful
appearance that contributes to a positive impression on clients and co-workers. General guidelines to be
followed are as under:
Dress Guidelines
• Given below are the dress code norms specified by the Company
• Employees are not allowed into the premises unless they come formally dressed and sport their ID cards
• If they have deliverables, reports, client calls or task deadlines they must especially pay attention to this
as it will unnecessarily cause delay
• As a thumb rule – following guidelines may be adhered to:
Mondays through Thursdays
• Shirts – Always Formal Shirts – Always tucked in. No big Checks. Please wear plain, striped or very small
checks
• Trousers – Always Formal Trousers
• Shoes – Always Formal Shoes – Black or Brown (use other accessories accordingly)
• SHTPL T-Shirts - Only Collared and Plain SHTPL T-Shirts with dark black or blue Jeans (no ripped,
flared or stonewashed jeans)
• Please note that client facing associates are not to wear Jeans and T-shirts
Friday Dressing
• Only Collared T-shirts – please avoid large prints with printed Texts
• Casual Shirts – Collared shirts with Jeans, trousers or Chinos
• Shoes - Sports shoes or black shoes
• Sandals – No sandals on Fridays
• Chappals – No chappals on Fridays
• Round Neck T-Shirts - No round neck T shirts on Fridays
• Ethnic wear – no ethnic wear on any workday
Personal Grooming
• Clean and hygienic appearance is recommended
• If you prefer to sport a beard – please trim it and keep it in a shape
Women Associates
• Salwar – Kameez, Kurtis, Saree, Business suits, Formal trousers, Cotton trousers and shirts from Mondays
through Thursdays
• Jeans or trousers with T shirts or shirts on Fridays
• Only things to be avoided are distracting or attention drawing chunky, noisy accessories and footwear
ID Cards
It is mandatory to sport ID cards on your person when entering office and throughout the day.
