II.F Cafeteria Policy
Cafeteria services are available for all Employees of SHTPL for a reasonable service and cost, the cafeteria vendor
offers Lunch, snacks and beverage items.
II.G Relocation Policy
As a part of Employment Agreement, SHTPL has the right to transfer any of its Employees / Consultants to any
of its branch / locations / subsidiaries as it may deem fit. A detailed note on the Relocation policy is provided
elsewhere in this document (Refer: Section V- Travel & Relocation Policies).
II.G Background Verification Policy
As a part of Recruitment and Selection process, all selected and offered employees are put through a
Background verification process once they are already onboarded. Employment remains provisional till the
background check results are satisfactory. In case red reports are received, the employment is to be terminated
with immediate effect unless satisfactory evidence to the contrary is received and verified.
II.H Giving and Receiving Gifts
You (and others acting on your behalf) may not give, provide or accept any gift, entertainment or favor to any
client, potential client, candidate for employment or other person or entity which:
• Extends beyond common courtesies is excessive in value and/or could be construed as a bribe orpayoff
• Cash gifts of any amount are never acceptable
Outside Business Activities
Employees may not become involved in any outside activities that may be detrimental to the interests of SHTPL
or that could adversely affect the performance of such person’s duties. Employees are expressly prohibited
from having any direct or indirect ownership interest of, or management or operational involvement in, any
business that competes with SHTPL for clients, suppliers, employees or alliances.
II.I Mobile Phone Usage when at work
Employees are allowed to use mobile phones at work for work related issues, client calls etc. However,
Employees are discouraged from using mobile phones for personal reasons, for downloading and sharing
content unrelated to work.
Following guidelines may be adhered with regard to Mobile phone usage:
• Long calls with family and friends to be restricted.
• No Videos/Music
• No Video calls other than for official purposes
• No share trading
• Restricted browsing during office hours for other purposes
• Strictly NO taking pictures inside the premises using Mobile Phone cameras
Disciplinary action will be initiated against employees found to be misusing their phones during office hours.
Mobile phones may be confiscated if repeated violations are reported.
