ANNUAL LEAVE:
• Total number of AL/ELs would be 15 per calendar year.
• For existing employees these leaves will get credited at the rate of 7.50 AL per half year in the beginning.
• For New joiners, there is no ELs/ALs for the first six months
• Leaves need to be pre-applied and pre-approved in the system/Greythr portal on or before leave date as the
system gets automatically locked
• Employees may escalate to HR or management in case he feels that his RM is not approving his leave
without any valid reason or in case his leaves are not being approved/rejected within stipulated time
• Onsite employees who are deployed for more than a month continuously need to apply ODL for whole
month. Employees travelling out of their respective locations for official work need to regularize their
attendance through Greythr using the client visit option on Greythr.
• The employees can avail 5 ALs in a row only three times in a calendar year and these instances are to be
spaced out by three months
• The employees can avail 5 ALs from Monday to Friday only once in a calendar year prefixing and suffixing
Saturdays and Sundays. Such leave request is to be submitted 30 days in advance.
• At the end of a calendar year, All unutilized ALs in excess of 5 are lapsed. Only 5 ALs out of total unutilized
ALs are carried forward and stored/bucketed as EL. These ELs are not added to the opening AL balance of
following year but accumulated to a maximum of 60 in an employee’s tenure and given out only as
encashment at the time of severance.
Please note that Intervening week offs or holidays during leave period will be included while calculating
leave availed. The same is being clarified with the help of examples below
Example Case Scenario:
Leave availed days: Friday and Monday
Leave considered will be Friday to Mondays ie Four days
Or
Leave availed days 14th January (Tuesday) and 16th January (Thursday)
Intervening holiday is 15th January (Wednesday)
Leave considered will be Tuesday to Thursday ie Three days from 14th to 16th January
Half day leave availed on Friday plus full day leave availed on Monday will be considered as 1.5 leave
Half day leave availed on Monday plus full day leave availed on Friday will be considered as 1.5 leave
Similarly,
Half day leave availed on the day preceding a declared Holiday plus full day leave availed onthe day following
such a holiday will be considered as 1.5 leave
Half day leave availed on the day succeeding a declared Holiday plus full day leave availed on theday
preceding such a holiday will be considered as 1.5 leave
Both Prefix and suffix of holiday and week off will not be considered. Either of the one will be treated as
leave period. The same is being clarified with the help of example below
Example Case Scenario:
Declared holiday falls on Monday
Leave avail period Tuesday - Friday
Sat- Sunday week off
Leave considered will be Monday - Friday ie five days
