V. TIME AND ATTENDANCE POLICY
V.A Shift Policy
SHTPL endeavors to offer quick and efficient services to all its clients around the World. Because of this global
dynamic, the Company provides continual access to its facilities and benefits for Employees who work in shifts.
Here are a few things that need to be observed and followed vis-à-vis time and attendance regularizations:
Shift Change:
• Reporting Managers will be responsible for entering shift timings in Greythr
• IT is responsible for entering and updating the shift changes in Biometric
• HR is responsible to ensure that same shift timings are affected and maintained in Biometrics in line with
shift information in Greythr
Eligibility
• All Employees who don’t work in Main shift (09:30 AM – 6:30 PM), to carry out their respective work, which
necessarily has to be done during that shift, would be governed by the respective norms and benefits
specified in this policy
• Employees identified to work in a particular shift, but due to specific reasons work during General shift are
not eligible for the benefits under this policy for those regular days worked during regular work period
Facilities for Employees working night shift
Cafeteria
• The Company provides tea/coffee/snacks/meals or per the existing policy
• The Company cafeteria is open until 9:30 PM every day. The company provides fresh food, beverage and
snacks for Employees working in the night shift. The Company also provides refrigerator for Employees to
store their personal food items. All costs against food will be borne by the Employee
Security
• The Company provides adequate security to ensure the safety of Employees working during the night shifts
• The Company ensures that no woman Employee is asked to work in night shift alone
• However, if there are other teams working the night shift on the same Unit/Floor, there are emergency
