Responsibility of the Manager/Supervisor
• Employees unable to work the night shift due to a medical reason or a personal emergency may not be
considered for work during the night shift
• The Manager should ensure that female Employees are not scheduled to work alone during the night shift,
unless there is another Employee, either woman or man from the same or any other project who is/are
scheduled to work on the same nights
• The Manager/Supervisor is responsible for coordination with HR /other relevant functions to ensure no
inconvenience is caused to the Employees working the night shift
Responsibility of the Employee
• The Employee would carry out regular activities assigned to him/her during the shift
• The Employee working in shifts should attend all necessary meetings/training scheduled during the regular
work period. The Employee is responsible for discussing and planning his/her schedule during the shift with
the Manager/Supervisor, if required
• The Employee must inform security of his/her contact numbers, while working the nightshift. The
Employee should carry a list of emergency contact numbers provided by Human resources Team for any
help required during the shift
V.B Leave Policy
SHTPL believes that Employees should have opportunities to enjoy time away from work to help balance their
professional and personal lives. The Company encourages all Employees to spend time with family for leisure,
taking care of personal work, or rest due to medical reasons.
Every Employee should plan to take at least few days of annual leave every year.
SHTPL also follows all local, regional, and/or country rules regarding leave and holidays as specified under
various legislations, acts, and/or practices.
The leave policy outlines the Employee eligibility requirements for each type of leave, and the rules
and procedures to schedule a leave.
Types of Leaves
CASUAL LEAVE:
• The total number of CLs would be 6 per calendar year
• For new joiners CLs would be prorated based on the date of joining
• For all old and new employees, CLs will be credited at the rate of 0.5 per month in the beginning of each
month
