Character sketch

of Annamarie

Introduction: Annamarie is a ten year old girl who lives in
Copenhagen, Denmark. She has a best friend, Ellen, who is

a Jews. They both live in the same tall apartment building.

Annamarie has a younger sister who is in kindergarten. Her
name is Kirsti. She also had a 19 years old sister, Lise who

died in a car accident.

Strengths and weakness of Annemarie

Strength: Annamarie can run fast as it is mentioned in the

first chapter of our book, Numbers the Stars. She is also
brave and smart as she saved Ellen from the Nazis.

Weaknesses: She is sad about not having her sister, Lise

and thinks bad for herself. She always worries about her
parents. She thinks that normal people like her don’t need to

be brave.
