3.2 Weaknesses
3.2.1 Ineffective use of school resources
Although the school has put many resources on promoting the concept of sustainable
development, not every student is able to understand how to use related tools. For
example, there are several garbage disposers in canteen. However, nearly none of the
students know the function of these machines. [Fig. 7] The school should promote more
to avoid the ineffective use of school resources.
3.3 Opportunities
3.3.1 Membership school of UNESCO HKA
As the membership school of UNESCO HKA, there are a lot of interaction between the
UNESCO HKA and our school, which provide precious opportunities for our students
to participate in various activities and workshops organized by the UNESCO HKA. On
one hand, our students have more chances to receive prizes and certificates in
recognition, and they can also interact more frequently with UNESCO HKA. For
instance, one of our students has just participated in Hi 17SDGs’ Online Programme.
