United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), launched by the United Nations in 2015, are an
excellent vehicle for small and big companies driving this change. They crafted goals and an
action plan for the planet and society to thrive by 2030.

The SDGs provide a great vision and guideline to create a better world together with other
players in the supply chain, our competitors of companies or even individuals.

The complete SDGs have 17 goals in total and 169 targets. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable
Development provides a global blueprint for dignity, peace and prosperity for people and the
planet, now and in the future. A few years into the Agenda, we see how civil society, private
sector, and governments are translating this shared vision into national development plans and
               strategies.

Considering the size of this document the SDGs can be found in full in the appendix. There we will highlight the goals
which are relevant for the facility department.

               Overall Sustainability Vision Statement

We are pleased to report that every step within Facility towards sustainable development has
been considerably beneficial to our company and our planet. Sakura Finetek Europe is an
environmentally conscious company with a big mission in the healthcare world. We are leaving
the doors open to opportunities for commitment and growth in the future.

We, the Sakura Facility team, envision ourselves to be the sustainable innovators within the
company. We firmly believe that we can play an important part in this effort by stating clear
goals and taking impactful actions within our department.

Given the fact that facility activities have a significant influence on how buildings and facilities
are used, we believe that our department has an important role to play - from developing a
realistic plan to implementing sustainability practices. We take into consideration the United
Nations Global Agenda in most of our actions.

Therefore, we are using three cornerstones to support our facility strategies, as follows:
                   1. Being innovative - we want to think of original and creative ways to benefit the people
                       planet and economy.
                   2. Being sustainable – by defining clear and sustainable goals, we create gradual and
                       consistent improvements.
                   3. Being environmental responsible – a way of thinking that will be embedded in all our
                       actions.

Some of the important strategies to reach our goals are empower others to act and create a
well-crafted Sustainable Facility project plan on a yearly basis. In this action plan, we are taking
into account the three pillars (environmental, social, and economic) so that a greener mindset
