HSSE REQUIREMENT FOR CONTRACTOR, ALLO TECHNOLOGY

III. Failure to meet this requirements or to the Employer’s satisfaction will be regarded as due
cause for the Employer, by giving notices, to terminate all or any part of the Work or the
Contract in accordance with Clause 10 of the Conditions of Contract (Termination).
IV. The Contractor shall provide immediate response to any emergencies occurring at the
worksite and shall immediately take such action as may be necessary to protect life and make
safe property where such is in imminent peril.
V. The Employer may instruct the Contractor to remove from the worksite any person engaged
in any part of the work who in the opinion of the Employer has not complied with the relevant
safety procedures described in this requirement or involved/acted in any conduct likely to be
prejudicial to the HSSE.
VI. Any such person shall be removed forthwith from the worksite. Any person removed for any
of the above reasons shall not be engaged again in the work or on any other works of the
Employer without the prior written approval of the Employer.
VII. The Contractor shall provide a suitable replacement for any such person within twenty- four
(24) hours or such longer time as may be agreed by the Employer. Any costs incurred in
connection with such replacement of the Contractor’s or any of its Subcontractors’ personnel
shall be for the Contractor’s account.
VIII. The Employer reserves the right to audit, at its discretion, the Contractor’s HSSE performance
with regards to the provisions this requirement. The Employer shall provide the Contractor
with notices if the HSSE performance of the Contractor do not comply with the provision of
this requirement or to the Employer’s satisfaction. If the Contractor continues with the failure
to comply with the provisions of this requirement and/or to the Employer’s satisfaction, the
Employer, at its discretion, reserves the right to provide the HSSE services on behalf of the
Contractor, at cost plus 10 percent which shall be back-charged to the Contractor and
deducted from their next invoice payment. The Employer shall also reserve its right to
terminate all or any part of the Contractor’s Work or the Contract in accordance with Clause
10 of the Conditions of Contract (Termination).
3. SCOPE
This document shall apply to all contractors, sub-contractors and specialists engaged in any Works/
Services under Allo Technology (Works).
This HSSE Requirements outlines the HSSE standards and management requirements that contractors
shall comply with throughout all phases of the Works. This HSSE Requirements is not intended in any
way to circumvent the application of and obligations or requirements under any other written laws or
standards. Any rules and regulations prepared and enforced by Allo in carrying out its daily business
shall be adopted by the contractor who shall be responsible for ensuring that these instructions are to
be fully complied by the contractors and sub-contractor’s personnel on site.
Any changes and updates to all applicable HSSE laws and regulations, Allo and TNB Guidelines and
procedures shall form a part of these HSSE Requirements. In the event of any inconsistency between
the provision of these HSSE Requirements and any latest Allo Technical Instruction and/or TNB HSSE
Requirements, the latter shall prevail.
