130 The Unforgettable Moments in Life
heard about the gangs. Since I refused to join a gang, they threatened me. That's why my
parents decided to move to Arkansas. They were trying to save me from getting in trouble or
getting killed. I finished school in Arkansas and had three kids. I lived in Fort Smith for a time,
but I didn't like it, so I moved to Springdale, Arkansas in 2003. Springdale is way better. Since
the move to Springdale, I have had two more kids. Now I have a great job and a good
household.
The gang my mom almost had to join.
