take everything out of my hair while I took my makeup off. I was crying and it made no sense.

Nothing that I said made any sense.

I quickly changed, said goodnight to my parents, and went to my room. I had no problem

going into a long, deep sleep. I finally knew what Aurora felt like, after pricking her finger on

the needle. I woke up around 10 a.m. Some may call me crazy, but no matter how late I stay up, I

always manage to wake up early. Of course, my parents were still sleeping, so once I woke up, I

didn’t leave my bed. I just processed alone in my four-walled bedroom what had happened the

day before, but quickly a sadness came over me knowing I would never wear my burgundy and

gold quince dress again. After a few hours, my mom came straight to my room and told me that

the family was coming over to the house to eat some leftovers. I knew that once everyone

arrived, I would have to prepare myself for another interesting day. I was ready to deal with all

the craziness that would occur in the house as soon as everyone entered. My quince was the best

day of my life, and I am happy that everything went well. What a night it was after my

quinceanera!
