Get To Know Me!

Hi! I am an artist, a character from e Cat Who Went to Heaven. I live in a small

house with my housekeeper. Yesterday my housekeeper brought home a cat called

Good Fortune. I was angry at her at first but when I saw her, I was amazed by her

beauty. This morning I woke up to see the cat curled up in a ball on my cushion. I ate
my breakfast and so far, I was really impressed by good fortune’s behavior. Later, when
I was looking at good fortune, the old housekeeper appeared. I could see her trying
to hide her excitement. But I didn’t know why she was so excited. When I heard her
explanation, I was really excited and nervous too because the head priest had come
to visit me.

The head priest was a very important person and he didn’t spend his time visiting

poor artists like me but for the first time he came to my house. I couldn’t believe my
ears. I quickly ordered the housekeeper to bring tea and cake for the priest. Good
fortune rubbed against my ankle to encourage me. I rushed to the room he was sitting
in. He was meditating when I entered the room. I bowed to him. We talked and I
was very happy when I heard why he had come here. I thanked him for giving me
the opportunity to paint Buddha and he had the meal and he left. After he left, I was

scared that it might be a dream. Then I heard noises coming from the kitchen and I

went there to find the housekeeper and good fortune purring and crying with joy. So,

I joined them.

The Great Elephant

Hi my dear friends. It’s me, the great Elephant
in Buddha’s story. I had once taken the form of
a wonderful Buddha. I hope my story inspires
you. Let’s begin!

My characteristics are somewhat like my size,
strength, wisdom, sagacity, dignity and my noble
strength. I have been represented in the story
of enlightenment. Once, across the hot burning
sand, I saw some fugitives driven out by a king
to die in the wilderness. I went to them and said
“Hello, I am an elephant and I am here to help
you. You need to have courage and strength. I
believe in you a-lot. So, I am helping you.
