               1.7    NEW INSTALLATIONS (RESTAURANT OF THE FUTURE)

               1.7.1  General

                      The ‘Restaurant of the Future’ (RoTF) installations shall be inclusive of but not limited to the
                      following elements:

                       •  New kitchen layout and equipment
                       •  Replacement counter and digital menu displays
                       •  Self-order kiosks (SOKs)
                       •  Digital welcome screens
                       •  Digital tablet table(s)



                      Refer to the Technical Specifications for Electrical Installations Generally for technical details.

               1.7.2  Kitchen Power Distribution

               1.7.2.1  Distribution Board

                      A new 12 way TP&N  kitchen power distribution board  (KP) will be  provided  to allow the
                      connection of all  new equipment and services, refer to the Technical Specifications for
                      Electrical Installations Generally for details.

                      Where identified as required by the Contractors survey and agreed with the Project
                      Manager, the Kitchen Distribution board will be expanded to allow for the connection of all
                      kitchen equipment and lobby supplies, the distribution will then be referenced  as  the
                      General Power Distribution (GP). The Contractor will determine the number of circuit ways
                      required to accommodate the number of circuits to be diverted and allowing for a minimum
                      of one spare three phase way and one single phase way.

                      A new MCCB sub-main will be installed for the connection of the kitchen distribution pan
                      assembly, where there is sufficient space in the existing main switchboard the MCCB will be
                      fitted within the panel; where there is no space in the existing main switchboard the new
                      MCCB will be fitted externally complete with an enclosure.

                      Cabling between the existing main switchboard and the new  sub-main  MCCB for  the
                      distribution board KP or GP shall be determined by the rating of the main MCCB, selected
                      from the following table:

                      MCCB and supply cable ratings to the new sub-main distribution boards shall be as indicated
