The Contractor shall also check the condition of the fire alarm control panel and report any
faults to the Project Manager.

The Contractor will check the availability of compatible devices for the existing fire alarm
panel and determine that the panel is capable of providing the interface functionality
required. Where either condition cannot be met the panel should be replaced.

All existing break glass pushes and sounders are to be renewed.

Where an office move is required as part of the scope of works the Contractor will include
for the replacement of the fire alarm panel.

1.4.2.5 Small Power Installations

The contractor will allow for the replacement of all existing socket outlets, fused connection
switches etc. in the areas to be refurbished.

The actual finish i.e. stain chrome or brushed aluminium etc. for socket outlets etc. is to be
agreed with the Interior designer.
