GENERAL ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATION

For existing stores where a new lighting distribution is to be installed, the lighting bus-bar
will be connected to the General Power distribution pan assembly.

2.7.3 HVAC Distribution

The HVAC distribution pan assembley will be TP&N Acti 9 Isobar, type B, MCB board,
complete with a 160A, 4-pole switch disconnector.

The Electrical Contractor will determine the number of circuit ways required to allow for
the connection of the new and existing HVAC systems installation plus a minimum of 1
spare TP&N way. The minimum panel size shall be not less than 6 TP&N ways.

2.7.4 IT Power Distribution

The IT Power distribution pan assembly will be SP&N Acti 9 Isobar, type A, MCB board,
complete with a 100A, 2-pole switch disconnector.

The Electrical Contractor will determine the number of circuit ways required to allow for
the connection of the IT equipment installation plus a minimum of 3 spare SP&N ways.
The minimum panel size shall be not less than 12 SP&N ways.

2.7.5 Metering

Digital meters will be provided for all individual circuits with service switches in excess of
100A, they will be located in extension cubicles fitted to the distribution board with which
they are associated.

Meters will be provide facilities for parameters inclusive of but not limited to the
following:

• Volts
• Amps
• kW
• kVA
• kWh
• kVAh
• kVAr
• Peak Amps
• Peak kW
• Peak kVA

Meters will have MODBUS output for connection to the BMS control panel.

Meters will be as manufactured by Schneider Electric, their catalogue reference
PM820MG with communications module PM8ECC.
