GENERAL ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATION

• Suspended ceiling primary grid system (one bond per area of ceiling required)
• All kitchen equipment, at the point of electrical supply

The Electrical Contractor shall carry out test to verify that all metal to metal joints in
mechanical systems i.e. pipe work, ductwork etc., are electrically continuous and of
negligible impedance and report any failures in writing to the Project Manager, for further
instructions.
All supplementary bonding conductors shall be not less than 4sq.mm copper LSF insulated
6491B cable with green/yellow insulation.
Warning notices shall be provided in accordance with BS 7671.
The Electrical Contractor’s attention is drawn to the requirements of BS 7671 chapter 41.
