1.2.5 Health & Safety Files
As installed drawings and equipment information shall be provided by the electrical
subcontractor in McDonald's standard format in hard copy and electronic form.
A disk containing a standard lick list of all equipment commonly used, together with
scanned equipment details and manufacturers details will be issued for editing by the
Contractor.
The Contractor shall use the standard disk as a basis for the Health & Safety File for the
project containing:
An edited tick list indicating the plant and equipment installed
Any plant and equipment used on the project and not on the standard tick list
shall be added to the end of the lists
Technical data and manufacturers details for plant and equipment from the
standard list, where used on the project
Scanned technical data and manufacturers details for plant and equipment used,
not on the standard list
Scanned versions of any test sheets produced for the installations
As installed drawings in Autocad format
A copy of the completed disc together with a single hard copy of all information
contained in the binder shall be issued to the Project Planning Supervisor. A further
copy of the disk shall be issued to the Consulting Engineer for comment
Any revision arising from comments received shall be issued on a revised disk, with the
revised pages issued to the Planning Supervisor.
1.2.6 Programme and Progress Chart
The Contractor shall be required to coordinate the MEPH works with the overall
programme.
The Contractor is to, within two weeks of acceptance of his Tender prepare and submit
to the Project Manager for review and comment a detailed time and progress chart,
together with a design/ installation drawing production programme showing in detail
the duration and completion of all parts sections, disciplines and operations, including
the labour force anticipated day by day.
The Contractor is to, at the same time, prepare and submit to the Project Manager an
order/delivery schedule, showing all plant and equipment for incorporation into a
typical Works package.
The Contractor shall identify in the programme when it may be necessary as part of the
works to interrupt the maintained services for the approval of the Project Manager.
This is to be submitted in good time to allow full Client consultation.
Method statements are to fully detail the proposed services to be worked on, the
method by which work is to be carried out including "fall back" procedures and a full
programme with critical timescales highlighted.
