The President, at any time, with approval of the Board of Directors,
      may appoint one or more Assistant Secretaries, Assistant Treasurers, or
      Assistant Secretary-Treasurers who shall perform such duties of the
      Secretary, Treasurer, or both, as may be delegated to such assistant or
      assistants by such officers, or the Board of Directors. Such assistant or
      assistants will serve at the pleasure of the President, and may be
      terminated by him at any time.

                        ARTICLE IX
                         Committees

     Section 1.
             Formation, Requirements, and Authority:  The President, with the
      consent of the Board of Directors, shall appoint standing committees of
      Finance, House, Membership, Grounds, Swimming, Court Sports, Golf,
      Long Range Planning, and Personnel.  Additional subcommittees may be
      established for a specific purpose working through a standing committee,
      as the President deems proper. All such committees shall be merely
      advisory and shall be subject to the direction and control of the Board.

     Section 2.
            Chair and Members:  The President, immediately after his election,
      shall name a chair for each standing committee. The chair of the Finance
      Committee, House Committee, Membership Committee, Swimming Pool
      Committee, Court Sports Committee, and Golf Committee shall be an
      existing member of the Board. The Grounds Committee shall be chaired
      by an existing member of the Grounds Committee appointed by the
      President and the Vice-Chair of the Grounds Committee shall be a Board
      Member appointed by the President. The Vice-President shall chair the
      Long Range Planning Committee and the President shall chair the
      Personnel Committee. The House Committee, Membership Committee,
      Swimming Pool Committee, Court Sports Committee, and Golf
      Committee shall each have either three (3) or six (6) members to be
      determined by the chair of such Committee. The Grounds Committee and
      Long Range Planning shall have either six (6) or nine (9) members, to be
      determined by the chair of such Committee. The Finance Committee shall
      consist of the past President and the current three (3) officers as well as
      six (6) members to be determined by the chair of the Finance Committee.
      The Personnel Committee shall consist of four (4) members consisting of
      the President, Past President, Vice-President, and Secretary.

     Section 3.
            Terms: With the exception of the Personnel Committee, Grounds
      Committee, and Finance Committee, each committee member shall serve
      a three (3) year term and the committees shall be structured so that
      one-third (1/3) of the committee members’ terms will expire each year and
