Section 3.
The President, or in case he is absent or for any reason unable to act,
the Vice-President, or such person as the Board of Directors may appoint
for that purpose, shall, with the Secretary, sign all written contracts and
obligations of the Club, and shall perform such other duties as the Board
of Directors may prescribe.
Section 4.
The Secretary, his assistant or appointee, shall keep the records of
the meetings of the Club and of the Board of Directors; he shall keep a
complete list of members and shall perform such other duties as may
from time to time be prescribed by the Board of Directors. He shall mail
notices of all meetings of the Club, and of the Board of Directors, to the
members thereof, as provided by the By-Laws, and shall conduct all
correspondence except that pertaining to the office of the Treasurer.
Section 5.
The Treasurer, his assistant or appointee, shall collect and keep all
moneys of the Club and disburse them as directed by the Board of
Directors. He shall keep the accounts in books belonging to the Club,
which shall be at all times open to the inspection of the Board of
Directors, to whom he shall make a monthly report in writing of the money
received and paid out and the account of funds on hand. A copy of each
report shall be recorded in the minutes of the Club. He shall send all
notices and conduct all correspondence relating to the financial matters of
the Club.
Section 6.
The Treasurer, his assistant or appointees, and all officers or
employees of the Club concerned in handling, disbursing or custody of
the Club's finances or properties, shall furnish such bonds as the Board
of Directors may require.
Section 7.
The Secretary and the Treasurer may or may not be members of the
Board and shall be subject to removal at any time with or without cause
by a majority vote of the Board of Directors.
Section 8.
The Board of Directors may designate licensed practicing legal
counsel [member(s) of the Club] to represent it in matters requiring the
services of an attorney.
