Operational Excellence Guide
PROMOTIONS AND UNITS
Promotion changeover takes place every month. POS and price
changes should be implemented at this time and full instructions are
included within the monthly promotional update.
Where possible your branch should have the following units in branch.
You will always be able to find out what should be featured on them
within your promotional update which is sent out within your POS
pack. Each month we will allocate out a range of products to aid with
merchandising feature units in branch. It is always up to the branch to
ensure units and features are merchandised and fully stocked as per
the images provided within the promotional update for that period.
We will provide all product and allocation information so that you can
order stock as required.
If a product is temporarily unavailable or out of stock, you should
always over face adjacent products to avoid empty gaps until the
effected product is back in stock. Always aim for units to look full with
no gaps or empty spaces.
*As with all units, POS may vary from the pictures shown dependent on
the individual promotions.
Active Sales Unit
This unit should be featured on
the counter next to the till and
the products featured will change
each month. The purpose of this
unit is to encourage colleagues
to recommend products that will
benefit customers. The relevant
product information to help you
will always be provided within the
promotional update and on the
POS prompt card provided for the
back of the unit.
