Task 15: Leave the guestroom properly

2. Properly arrange items in step 1 in the caddy kit or
guestroom cart.
3. Check if ACU is in the hotel standard temperature
setting.
4. Check if TV set is in the hotel standard channel and
volume.
5. Set the lighting inside the room.
6. Make a final check around the room to make sure that
all items are well-positioned and that all areas from
ceiling to floor are clean and well maintained.
7. Update Housekeeper’s report form, indicate time
started and finished completed cleaning the room.
8. Turn off main switch of the room.
9. Exit the room, gently close the door and make sure it
is locked.
Task 16: Guest room general cleaning
OPERATING PROCEDURES STANDARD(s)
1. Enter guestroom door. Maximum of 1 hour cleaning time.
2. Inform LMC of your location, i.e. room number. Room GC is done per instruction of immediate superior.
- Clean the main room. LMC is always advised on the GSA (Guestroom)
- Clean ceiling and walls. whereabouts.
- Remove cobwebs and stain in the ceiling with the
cobweb cleaner or soft broom. Start in the foyer, Ladder may be used when cleaning high ceiling.
