2. To maintain Active membership, a Member must be in good standing (“Good
Standing”). Good Standing means that a Member must be Active and Financial.

3. An Active member shall be required to participate in Chapter activities, sponsor
Grade-Group Activities and support the Foundation (see Appendix B). Active
members are required to attend one National convention OR one Regional Mothers’
Conference OR one Regional Area Workday or one teen conference on a rolling
four-year period for the duration of their membership tenure.

4. Financial is defined as being current on all Chapter, Regional and National dues,
assessments and fees by their assigned due date.

5. The Active status of a Member terminates at the end of the membership Program
Year, which includes all conventions (the following summer), when the youngest
Child completes high school or reaches age twenty (20).

6. Rights/Privileges of Active Chapter Members in Good Standing

a. The right to vote on all Chapter matters

b. The right to attend all Chapter meetings

c. The privilege to serve on and or chair Chapter committees

d. The privilege to serve as an officer in the Chapter

e. The right to have your spouse participate in the Chapter’s Fathers’ Auxiliary

f. The right to have a child that resides with you and receives long term
continuous care from you to participate in the Chapter.

g. The right to - upon her death, to have her Child(ren) continue their
affiliation with the Organization for the duration of the Fiscal Year
following her death, and the ensuing Fiscal Years if the surviving
parent/guardian, so desires. In such case, she will be classified as having
completed her tenure in Good Standing, thereby granting immediate Legacy
Status (see Article , Section 3, V – Legacy Status Intake) to her Child(ren)
irrespective of their age or if they continue to participate in the
Organization.

h. Once a Chapter Member has completed one full year of Active membership
in the Chapter AND has a record of participation on at least one (1) Chapter
Standing Committee for that year, the Member will secure the privilege of
sponsoring a prospective member.
