i. Once the Chapter Member completes her Active membership tenure in
Good Standing, she shall have the right to grant Legacy Status privileges to
her female Child(ren) and the female spouse(s) of her male Child(ren) (see
Article V, Section 3 – Legacy Status Intake).

7. Duties of Active Members: to maintain Good Standing, and access to all
rights/privileges of membership. Members must meet the following requirements
each Program Year:

a. Members must be Financial

b. Members must support (as defined by the Chapter from time to time) the
Chapter’s fundraiser for Foundation.

c. Chapter Members must attend 5 out of 9 Chapter Mothers’ Meetings within
one (1) Program Year. Failure to do so shall be cause for Involuntary
Termination (see the NTCRCP for guidance).

d. Members must attend one National OR one Regional Mothers’ Conference
OR one Regional Area Workday or cluster or one teen conference on a
rolling four-year period for the duration of their membership tenure.

e. Chapter Members must serve on at least one (1) Chapter Standing
committee throughout the Program Year.

f. A Chapter Member must sponsor at least one activity per child for each of
their children’s grade-groups.

g. Chapter Members must participate in at least one Chapter-Sponsored Event
per Program Year. Participation includes planning and/or attendance.

h. Members must adhere to all of the tenets of the NCB, NPP (and any other
governing documents in support thereof), the National Code of Ethics,
Regional Policies and Procedures, these Chapter Bylaws and the
NTCRCP.

j. Chapter Members must provide updated contact information to the
Membership Committee chairperson within 30 days of a change. The
Membership chairperson’s list of member contacts shall serve as the official
record (“Membership Directory”) for all distributions. Failure to provide
updated information shall not be a basis for Involuntary Termination of
membership. However, failure to update information shall prevent a
Member from objecting to any official action taken by the membership due
to lack of notice.
