7. Terminated members may not re-apply for membership under this classification.
E. Orientation and Initiation
1. New members’ orientation shall be held prior to the initiation ceremony.
2. The initiation ceremony should be held prior to the vote on the annual budget.
Pursuant to the NCB, the initiation ceremony shall NEVER be held later than May

31 .
3. ALL new members are required to attend orientation and initiation.
F. The roster of new members, the joining fees, and the Headquarters Assessment must be

sent to the National Headquarters no later than May 31 .
G. A Member who has completed her membership tenure in Good Standing (her
child/children graduate(s) out) and, due to changed circumstances, desires to again become
a member of the Organization shall be entitled to automatically become a member of the
Chapter (if she lives within the required territorial boundaries as defined in Article V –
General hereof) upon submission of a membership application and payment of any
required fees, except the “one time” National Headquarters fee shall not be due upon
rejoining the Organization.
Section 4: Termination of Membership
A. Voluntary Termination (Resignation)
1. A Member who desires to resign from the Chapter must do so by submitting a
written resignation to the Chapter Vice President on or before May 31 in order to

avoid an obligation to pay dues for the next Program Year.
2. The Chapter Corresponding Secretary shall send a letter, on behalf of the Chapter
Vice President, confirming acceptance of the resignation and confirming
termination of membership in the Organization. The letter should also confirm the
standing of the member at the time of termination (Good Standing/Not in Good
Standing). Said letter shall be sent to the terminated Member within 30 days of the
Chapter Vice President’s receipt of the written resignation. A copy of the
confirming letter shall be kept in the files of the Chapter Corresponding Secretary.
B. Involuntary Termination of Membership
1. Causes for Termination.
a. Failure to meet any obligations as required under Duties of Active
Members (Article V, Section 2(A)(7)(a-g and i). Exceptions: Article V,
